Tired of being dependent on fossil fuels and looking for ways to create a future for your family that does not use your entire paycheck up to simply stay warm and keep the lights on. Looking to create a greener life for yourself and your family by switching to environmentally friendly products.

There are thousands of entrepreneurs who have been thinking about all this and generating ideas, reviving old traditions and creating new products around the notion that we can build a sustainable future for ourselves and for our planet. We are working to bring many of them together to let you learn the latest and greatest and to start making plans for your own green future.For Example: Did you know that many solar companies are now offering financing as a part of their packages?

Did you know that simple changes to the appliances you choose can save you hundreds of dollars a year in heating costs? Did you know that there are many cosmetics, detergents and other household products that are much safer for the environment than those most often found on your supermarket shelf?

About the Exposition
A great deal rides on our ability to create a healthier, safer, more sustainable future; free of fossil fuels and built around earth friendly products: the environment, the economy, and our standard of living will all be dramatically affected by the choices we make as individuals and as a country over the next decade.

The Going Green Expositions are intended to provide a forum for citizens to learn more about how we can begin to make the transition to a sustainable future. The Expositions will provide an opportunity for vendors to address each of us directly, providing information, demonstrations and resources for making decisions about enhancing the sustainability of our own personal footprint.

Up until now, most of the expositions around renewable energy and sustainable living have been focused on bringing the professionals into contact with one another. What makes our focus different is that we want to bring consumers into the picture. We want to bring together the folks who can show us what we can do, even in small but meaningful ways to reduce our personal footprint.

Who Will Be Exhibiting?
Businesses that are providing services to consumers that enhance our ability to achieve some level of sustainability or energy savings will be exhibiting at these Going Green expositions. This includes: Earth friendly and socially responsible investment funds; vendors of products such as glass, insulation, generators, furnaces, wood and pellet stoves, solar panels, wind and hydro turbines and many more; green product vendors; healthy living vendors and providers like hospitals, insurers, clubs, etc.; green builders and architects; fuel suppliers such as bio-diesel and ethanol and others; auto dealers offering hybrid cars, financial institutions offering loans to consumers for sustainability products; and a whole range of others who provide consulting, support services and training in green technology, processes or products.

Concurrent Green Living Workshops All Weekend
A full schedule of workshops will be developed for the Expo. Most workshops will be free. There may be a limited number of fee workshops. If you are interested in doing a workshop, please request a workshop proposal form. We will accumulate all of the forms and determine what workshops will be offered 45 days prior to the Expo. Sorry, workshops by non-exhibitors are by invitation only. Workshops will be videotaped for Webcasting
